Bread and Butter

Daisy Linhares is a Brazilian designer based in Venice, California.  Daisy’s first fashion endeavor was Mothballs, which involved deconstructing and modernizing vintage cashmere sweaters.  But, in 2006 Daisy simplified things with her new line designed for everyday wear, Bread and Butter.  Creating flattering feminine rayon dresses and tops that pleat, often cinch at the rip cage, and dip modestly at the neckline, Bread and Butter pieces are great whether you are at work or at play. 

The Bread and Butter collection consists of comfortable rayon/modal dresses and tops that are stylish, yet understated.  Looking at the fast pace life style in which we live in Daisy hopes that Bread and Butter will simplify the “debate” of throwing an outfit together, making the garments easy to wear.
